The third tutorial, building on an application started by Tim Heuer, will demonstrate how to bind to live data through a web service, how to implement the panorama view and how to integrate both animation and live Bing maps.

  1. Thanks for posting this information! The more the merrier.
I was on the MS campus in Building 20 all day Tuesday and Wednesday attending the Windows Phone 7 Jumpstart. Oddly enough, I looked all over Building 20 and didn’t see you. Heh, heh. You must have been closeted away and I hope you didn’t miss the food, because it was very good!

This is getting exciting! It’s clear that you’ve been getting a lot of NDA-type info, and I’ll bet it’s hard to keep from shouting it to the world. There were a number of NDA-type questions at the Jumpstart that got answered with the moral equivalent of “No comment”.

    • Paul Thurrott says:

Yeah, they very specifically kept me away from the Windows Phone Jumpstart (or any other human interaction). :)

      • gpsarakis says:

Did they have armed guards in suits watching over you as well? I mean if Apple can lose an iPhone 4g ….. heh.

      • Paul Thurrott says:

In effect, yeah. I was always accompanied. I feel bad for the guy that had to spend all that time in the room with me.
